Involvement
Scribbles and Giggles believes that parent involvement plays
a crucial role in bridging the gap between the home environment
and the centre. In saying that parent’s participation
is important, they are invited to spend some time in their
child’s class throughout the year. If a parent has
a particular skill they can share with the children within
the centre, the staff would love to arrange a day to make
that possible.
Staff are aware of the different parenting styles, and aim
to be responsive to those needs.
Parents are invited to visit the centre prior to commencing
care; this will encourage children to settle into centre
quicker.

If parents at
any time have any concerns regarding their child they are
encouraged to discuss it with the staff or management. So
this can be discussed and dealt with ASAP.
