The Early Years Framework

The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) is Australia’s national curriculum framework for early childhood education and It emphasizes on play-based learning. Guided by EYLF our educators create and plan curriculums and programs that are inspired by children’s ideas, interests, strengths and abilities. The program focuses on each child to achieve positive learning outcomes and helps them develop a sense of Belonging, Being and Becoming through five learning outcomes.

The three interwoven concepts in the framework of children’s lives are: Belonging, Being and Becoming.

Belonging – Belonging is about feeling that you are part of a group or family; A feeling that you are connected and have a meaningful relationship with others.

Being – Being is about the present, and how we experience the “now”. For Children, it is about knowing that other children and adults that they come in contact with, care about them.

Becoming – Becoming is about change; The experience of being in a different place or space. It is about children’s understanding of different situations.
