School Readiness

School readiness refers to the developmental stage that children are ready to learn effectively in a formal learning environment.

The program is offered during the final year at Scribbles and Giggles Childcare Centres to ensure a smooth transition from childcare environment to school setting. It helps them develop variety of skills such as social, literacy and numeracy; and builds a foundation for their long-term success at school.

Our educators strongly believe in the importance of this learning stage, partner with families and local schools to ensure a successful transition and consider school readiness program an important milestone in every child’s learning journey.

Our program offers a variety of activities and experiences specific to pre-schoolers. These experiences enable your children to expand their current skills, provide them with opportunities to learn new developmental skills and prepare them for a smooth and successful transition to school.

At Scribbles and Giggles, we provide opportunities for parents to discuss their child’s progress regularly and we offer variety of information and resources through our monthly parent teacher meetings and newsletters.
