The learning environments at our service ensure that the planned curriculum and routine for each room is relevant to the children’s age group and children’s individual needs. We have 3 separate indoor learning environments.

Catering for individual routines to ensures consistency for young babies. Educators will follow the child’s home routine as closely as possible. For our toddlers we promote self-help skills as we try to introduce independence.

The outdoor play area allocated specifically for the babies is located in the main playground, above the playground for older children.

Activities are programmed at set times of the day. The 3-4 year old children take part in age appropriate educator monitored experiences daily.

Our School readiness program for the children attending primary school the following year is implemented daily, to ensure the Butterflies are equipped with the skills for a successful transition to primary school.

Scribbles and Giggles Rydalmere also works closely with St Mary’s Primary to offer mini excursions to the Primary school library, the canteen and the playground, so the children are able to familiarise themselves with primary school environment.
