We at Scribbles and Giggles understand the transition for children into care is an important milestone for children and families. This transition can also be a daunting, challenging as well as emotional for the family. This is why we offer an Orientation period prior to commencing.
The Orientation period is offered to ensure families are all comfortable with our service, but most importantly our educators. During the orientation, the children are able to meet their fellow peers, whilst families are familiarising themselves with the educators and the routines.
On your first day you will be given a bag full of merchandise as well as a swipe tag, that allows families access to the front door.
Being an open door centre our centre can be accessed at any time for parental inspection, we encourage families to access our centre to see how we help your child develop and grow. Entry by you any time shows that we are happy for you to see our practices at any time of the day.

Scribbles and Giggles has adopted the Munch and Move Program. We promote healthy eating and physical activity through all our locations.
Scribbles and Giggles believes that early childhood is a perfect time for children to develop and understand a healthy lifestyle this is why we encourage healthy eating in our centres.
Our menu is on a 4-week rotation and is reviewed quarterly by our chef and Director, but input from our educators, children and parents is always appreciated and requested.
All our centre menus are Munch and Move approved and our chefs have attended Munch and Move workshops to ensure a healthy eating learning experience. Our menus also reflect cultural diversity, allergies and intolerances of the children. All food prepared for the children is fresh and prepared daily by our formally qualified chefs.
The Australian Government provides families with two types of financial assistance to help cover the costs of approved child care – the Child Care Benefit (CCB) which is means tested and the Child Care Rebate (CCR) which is not.
From 2 July 2018, The Australian Government will commence a new child care package. The new package, will be the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and this package will replace the existing Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate.
